Cocktail birds can mate when they reach the age of 9 to 12 months, and females in the cocktail remain able to lay eggs and have fertility for 8-10 years, and fertile males until 12-14 years of age. There are always exceptions, and it is possible for a bird, with strong Health and a proper diet, and with strong genetic roots, to have a fertility capacity for a longer period than that.
