The Exo Terra FX-200 turtle filter provides an odour-reducing filtration system for turtle tanks, paludariums or aquaterrariums. It comes complete with a spray bar system for better aeration and all the necessary filter media. The dual-chamber design allows maximum flexibility in servicing mechanical, chemical and absorbent filter media. Flow rates have been precisely calculated to provide the exact balance needed between mechanical filtration, water circulation and oxygen enrichment, resulting in ideal conditions for successful turtle keeping.
It only needs maintenance every 1-2 months for turtle tanks and every 2-4 months for other aquatic habitats.
Includes the following filter media: 1 fine foam, 2 coarse foams, 1 odour-reducing pad and 2 double carbon pads. The odour-reducing pad together with the two double carbon pads ensure maximum ammonia absorption capacity, which is useful in turtle tanks, paludariums or aquaterrariums with a high biological load.
