What it is
Felimazole is a coated tablet for cats with hyperthyroidism.
When to use it
- Hyperthyroidism diagnosed by your vet
- Stabilising the condition before surgical thyroid removal
- Long-term management of hyperthyroidism
How to use it
Dose: start at 2.5 mg every 12 hours, then adjust after 3 weeks based on T4 results and response, in 2.5 mg steps (maximum 20 mg a day in divided doses, no more than 10 mg at once)
