Cardisure® Flavoured: price and specifications
- Cardisure (pimobendan) treats congestive heart failure in dogs caused by valvular insufficiency or dilated cardiomyopathy.
- Cardisure is used in cases of mitral or tricuspid valve regurgitation.
- Cardisure strengthens the contraction of the heart muscle without increasing the heart's oxygen consumption.
- Cardisure dilates blood vessels, reducing the workload on the heart.
Dosage and administration
- Daily dose: 0.5 mg pimobendan per kg body weight, divided into two doses about 12 hours apart, one hour before meals.
- Weigh the dog accurately before starting treatment and do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Return any remaining half tablet to the blister and use it within 3 days.
Side effects
In rare cases, transient diarrhoea, loss of appetite or lethargy may occur.
