What it is
Cardisure is a flavoured tablet containing 2.5 mg pimobendan for treating heart failure in dogs.
When to use it
- Congestive heart failure caused by heart valve insufficiency
- Dilated cardiomyopathy
- Mitral or tricuspid valve regurgitation
How to use it
Dose: 0.5 mg per kg per day, split into 2 doses · Method: by mouth, 1 hour before food · Every: about 12 hours
Use the remaining half tablet within 3 days.
Dispensed on a veterinary prescription — your vet sets the right dose.
