Treatment of infections of the urogenital tract, oral cavity, throat, and skin caused by obligate anaerobic bacteria (such as Clostridia spp.) susceptible to metronidazole.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDosage:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor oral use. The recommended dose is 50 mg of metronidazole per kilogram of body weight daily for 5-7 days. The daily dose can be divided equally to be taken twice daily (i.e., 25 mg\/kg of body weight twice daily).
