Recommended use Terrano clay powder is added to the surface as a binding component. Standard mix: Mix about one part of Terrano clay powder with 3 to 5 parts of sand or soil. The dry ingredients are mixed well and then gradually moistened with water until a moldable, slightly moist mass is formed. The surface is distributed, compressed, and shaped in the terrarium. Once completely dry, the surface hardens and retains its shape permanently. Wet mixing: Mix 1 kg of Terrano clay powder with about 400 to 600 ml of water until a homogeneous plastic clay mass is formed. This wet mixture can be well mixed into the surface or specifically used to shape soil areas, terrain forms, and hard hiding areas. Once completely dry, it forms a particularly solid and stable surface. The wet mixture ensures even distribution of clay in the surface and controlled drying, making it particularly suitable for detailed design work in terrarium surfaces. Recommended surface depth: at least 3 to 5 cm, and higher for burrowing species.
