Ammonium and ammonia mainly appear from fish waste. They are converted into each other based on the pH value. While ammonium is largely harmless, ammonia is toxic to fish.

The sera NH4/NH3 test allows monitoring of the total concentration of both (the actual ammonia level can be calculated according to the pH value using the attached table).

In case of acute danger, sera toxivec (for freshwater) or sera pond toxivec (for pond water) provide assistance. Meanwhile, sera bio nitrivec (for freshwater) and sera marin bio reefclear (for saltwater) or sera pond bio nitrivec (for pond water) effectively counteract the permanent accumulation of these substances.

Sufficient for approximately 60 measurements.
