Cuprisorb 250 mL

CupriSorb is a powerful absorber of copper and heavy metals. CupriSorb will remove copper faster and more efficiently than carbon, making it ideal for emergency copper removal. It extracts all types of copper, including chelated copper, and remains effective until it turns a dark blue color. It can be regenerated repeatedly. If used continuously, it will gradually extract even precipitated copper from the gravel/substrate bed. CupriSorb will allow for the maintenance of invertebrates in copper-treated aquariums by removing leached copper from substrates.

CupriSorb is a copper-specific chelating resin. Competing products are not chelating products, but merely ion exchange resins. Such resins can remove copper from freshwater but are ineffective in saltwater.

Instructions:
Use 250 ml for every 600 liters (150 US gallons) to remove up to 7500 mg (12 ppm) of copper. Use it in a filter media bag like "The Bag". For best results, CupriSorb should be placed to maximize water flow through it. To remove undetectable leached copper from the substrate, keep CupriSorb in use for at least two weeks after copper tests show no copper presence. Use it in a canister filter, chemical filtration unit, box filter, or any high-flow area in a slow-flow filter.
