API® MELAFIX Fish Treatment is a completely natural antibacterial remedy that treats infections in fish. Common bacterial infections include open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, eye cloudiness, and mouth fungus. MELAFIX Fish Treatment also promotes the regrowth of damaged fins and tissues. The product can be used when adding new fish to the aquarium – especially to ease the transition from the store to home – and if an infection is suspected but not yet diagnosed. Some fish purchased from pet stores may already carry diseases at the time of purchase, which can be difficult to detect in their early stages.

API MELAFIX Fish Treatment will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH level, or change the color of the water.

• Add 5 ml for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.
• For treating diseases or wounds, dose daily for 7 days.
• After 7 days, change 25% of the water.
• Continue treatment if necessary.
• For adding new fish, dose daily for 3 days.
