API® PROPER pH 7.0 easily adjusts and maintains pH at 7.0 in community tropical fish tanks, and it also removes chlorine and neutralizes chloramines to make tap water safe and livable for fish. To promote overall fish health, API PROPER pH 7.0 also provides essential electrolytes and removes heavy metals from aquarium water. pH is a measure of acidity or alkalinity in water, where a value of 7.0 equals neutral pH, values above 7.0 are alkaline, and values below 7.0 are acidic.

Different fish require different pH levels to be healthy, so it is important to regularly test the water to ensure pH levels remain within the desired range. If the pH level in the water is not at the desired level, use API PROPER pH 7.0 to adjust and maintain the level. API PROPER pH 7.0 works best for tropical fish communities and should be used when setting up the aquarium or when changing the water.

Do not use in tanks containing live plants.

• Add 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons of aquarium water.
