AQUA ESSENTIAL Water Conditioner is a highly concentrated water conditioner that acts as a comprehensive solution, instantly making tap water safe for fish by removing chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifying heavy metals commonly found in tap water. AQUA ESSENTIAL Conditioner immediately removes toxic ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels in freshwater, saltwater, and planted aquariums. Toxic ammonia is continuously released by fish through gills, urine, and solid waste. Uneaten food and decaying organic matter also contribute to ammonia levels. Small amounts of ammonia cause stress to fish; while large amounts of ammonia may kill fish. This unique formula binds ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, making them non-toxic and enabling the biological filter to remove them more efficiently.

Use it when starting and any time you add or change water or when ammonia, nitrate, or nitrite levels are high. When adding, moving, or quarantining fish, we recommend using API STRESS COAT Water Conditioner, which is ideal for use with AQUA ESSENTIAL Conditioner.

Using the dosing cap on the bottle, add 5 ml per 50 gallons of aquarium water to treat tap water. Add 5 ml per 10 gallons of aquarium water to remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. We advise waiting 24 hours after dosing and then changing the water. If you dose during that 24-hour period, there is no risk to the animals/plants in your aquarium. Regular water changes are always beneficial to the aquatic system.
