API® Quick Start Bacteria allows for the immediate addition of fish, as it instantly begins the aquarium's natural cycle with the help of beneficial bacteria, which convert toxic ammonia into nitrite, and then into harmless nitrate, helping to prevent fish loss in your aquarium.

Best used when starting a new aquarium, after water changes and filter changes, and when adding new fish to an existing aquarium.

API Quick Start Bacteria can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Add 10 ml for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.
