The 2.4 mm lock screw has the same head as the 2.7 mm lock screw (LS2724** series) and can therefore be used in both 2.4 mm lock plates and 2.7 mm lock plates when needed. The 1.8 mm pilot drill, as with other lock screw sizes, requires the use of a dedicated drill sleeve.
