AquaClear 70 Power Head-V 265L

The Aqua Clear Power Head 70 pump is a multifunctional pump that delivers excellent performance for various aquarium applications. It effectively drives undergravel filters, as well as circulates and aerates tank water. It can also be connected to protein skimmers, which are essential devices for most marine tanks. Freshwater tanks also benefit from the additional currents in many applications.

Using the Power Head 70 pump in conjunction with the Aqua Clear fast filter provides safe mechanical filtration to improve water quality and protect small fish. The Power Head 70 pump has a unique backflow feature that forces water down through the lift tube under the gravel and beneath the gravel. This helps promote bacterial growth from the bottom up. Injecting oxygen-rich water under the gravel bed supports excellent conditions for beneficial oxidizing bacteria.

The Power Head 70 pump includes the following innovations in design, safety, and utility: a compact, energy-efficient, fully submersible motor, insulated in epoxy resin to protect it from harsh freshwater and saltwater environments; a venturi aeration feature that increases surface agitation and gas exchange; a convenient mounting bracket that easily fits most standard tank rims; and flow control.
