Meridian is a completely natural material made from oolitic aragonite (spherical or oval shape) used as a base for all marine and reef aquariums. Meridian is considered the premium aragonite material for coral reef aquariums.

Preparation:
Rinse before use to remove any remaining dust.

When adding water to the aquarium, fill it slowly to avoid disturbing the Meridian layer. Place a container in the aquarium and add water directly into the container, allowing the water to gently overflow onto the gravel layer. Initial cloudiness is normal. To remove the cloudiness, use mechanical filtration (such as filter floss). Use the Clarity product to speed up the clearing process.
