Reef Builder 300g

Reef Builder raises carbonate alkalinity (KH) without an immediate impact on pH. With long-term use, there will be a tendency to stabilize at a pH of 8.3. When used as directed, Reef Builder will not deplete calcium, magnesium, or strontium, which typically tend to precipitate with increased alkalinity.

Directions:
For beginners
Use 3 grams (half a level teaspoon) per 150 liters (40 US gallons) twice a week. Dissolve it in 250 ml (one cup) of fresh water. Check the alkalinity every two weeks and adjust the amount or frequency accordingly. For precise dosing, use the Seachem digital spoon scale.

For advanced users
Check the alkalinity, then follow the addition regimen mentioned above until the alkalinity is adjusted to 3-6 microequivalents/liter (8-17 dKH). Every 3 grams/150 liters will raise the alkalinity by approximately 0.25 microequivalents/liter. The amount or frequency can be adjusted, but do not exceed 12 grams/150 liters per day. After that, use as needed to maintain alkalinity.
