AQUAEL filter sponge cartridges are made from carefully selected phenol-free sponge. They ensure effective mechanical filtration of the water, retaining impurities and visible turbidity.

At the same time, it serves as a base for nitrifying bacteria, making it also perform biological filtration. To ensure optimal performance of the media, it is recommended to replace it regularly and keep it only in the "old" water taken during aquarium changes.
