A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which has a non-narcotic analgesic effect with antipyretic properties.
It is used to reduce inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders and colic.
In addition, it is also used to control acute inflammatory reactions associated with infectious diseases.
Flunixin is also used as an adjuvant therapy in the treatment of respiratory diseases.
Usage and dosage:
Intramuscular or intravenous injection.
Cattle: 2 ml/45 kg body weight. Repeat if necessary at 24-hour intervals for up to 3 consecutive days.
Horses: 1 ml/45 kg body weight by intravenous injection only.
The treatment can be repeated once or twice in case of recurrence of colic. In case of musculoskeletal disorders, treatment is given once daily for a maximum of 5 days according to clinical response. Inject the product slowly, and apply it at body temperature.
