Aquarium water usually contains a very low level of carbon dioxide (CO2) as it has already been extracted from tap water at water plants. In addition to light, nitrogen, phosphate, and trace elements, the most important nutrient for aquarium plants is CO2, and the stronger and healthier the plants, the less chance there is for algae growth. Plants also produce more oxygen, which fish need to breathe, and CO2 also regulates pH values in the water at the correct dosage.

The set is completed with accessories, including:
