EHEIM Carbon
Filter carbon for pure water in aquariums - especially for new tank setups
EHEIM Carbon is particularly suitable for water purification during the aquarium setup phase. Specifically, chlorine from tap water and other chemicals that may enter the aquarium during installation are safely absorbed.
EHEIM Carbon should be used for a short period (about 4 weeks) in the layer setup after mechanical filter media (such as EHEIM Mech or Mech Pro) and biological filter media (such as EHEIM Substrat Pro) in the provided mesh bag.

Tip:
Use absorptive filter media only for a few weeks, as harmful substances adhere to them only and may detach after a period, reintroducing them into the water.
