EHEIM pHcontrol+e – The smart controller for monitoring and resetting the pH value in your aquarium

With EHEIM pHcontrol+e, you can easily monitor and optimize the pH level in your aquarium via your smartphone, tablet, or computer/Mac simply through a Wi-Fi connection and your web browser. The pH sensor measures the current pH value of the water, and the pHcontrol+e automatically provides the necessary CO2 supply. By controlling the solenoid valve connected to the CO2 system series, it adds the required amount of CO2 until the desired pH value is reached.

To achieve this, you must connect your CO2 system, i.e., CO2 bottle via pressure reducer along with a solenoid valve (see EHEIM CO2 sets) and CO2 diffuser. The pHcontrol+e has day/night control and can be linked to the EHEIM LEDcontrol+e lighting control system (see EHEIM DIGITAL family).

In addition to light, plants in your aquarium need CO2 above all as an important nutrient. The better the plants thrive, the more oxygen they release, which fish need to breathe. Thus, EHEIM pHcontrol+e indirectly provides the optimal oxygen and pH value for your fish through CO2 addition. This is usually between pH 6 and pH 8; pH 7 is considered a neutral reference value.

Note:

The measurements and stabilization of the pH value are based on the carbonate hardness ("KH") of the water. Therefore, EHEIM pHcontrol+e (in smart mode) first inquires about the KH value. Because KH, CO2, and pH value affect each other.
