Product for the treatment of epilepsy.
"Epilease" can be beneficial in reducing the frequency, severity, or duration of seizures, with the aim of improving the quality of life in dogs with epilepsy.

Active ingredient:
Potassium bromide

Indications for use:
Prescribed by veterinarians only. This product is intended for use as an adjunct to treat epilepsy alongside phenobarbital in cases of treatment-resistant epilepsy in dogs.

Dosage:
For oral use.
The dosage should be edited according to the individual dog as the required dose and serum bromide concentration will vary between individual animals. It is administered with Food at an initial dose of 15 mg/kg of body weight twice daily (equivalent to a total daily dose of 30 mg/kg) to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal disturbances. Given the half-life of bromide, which is 24 days, it may take several weeks or months to reach stable serum concentrations.
