Dental damage in horses has been documented as a result of using metal mouth gags. This inspired the development of new oral gags for horses. This model is distinguished from other oral gags by its design and materials - stainless steel with a solid molded rubber block. The rubber block is made from an extremely durable and non-harmful material, preventing dental damage when using EQUIVET mouth gags. Additionally, the shape of the wedge and the flexibility of the rubber reduce pressure on the horse. An additional advantage of EQUIVET mouth gags is that the rubber block is interchangeable - and when it finally wears out, it can be easily replaced.
