Coated tablets (Thiamazole also known as Methimazole) for the treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats.

Active Ingredient: Methimazole

Package Size: 100 tablets in blister packs per box - 5 mg, also available in a 2.5 mg dose.

Indications: To stabilize hyperthyroidism in cats prior to surgical thyroidectomy and for long-term treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats.

Dosage: The initial dose of Felimazole coated tablets is 2.5 mg given every 12 hours. After 3 weeks of treatment, the dose should be adjusted based on total serum T4 levels and clinical response. Dose adjustments should be in increments of 2.5 mg. The maximum total daily dose is 20 mg divided, not exceeding 10 mg as a single administration.

Storage: Store at room temperature between 15ºC - 30ºC.
