Fauna Flora – Use it with hand-feeding formulas

The benefits of using this in hand-feeding Food are twofold:

1. Improved absorption: The digestive system of young birds can better handle simple nutrient molecules, as generally, the full set of enzymes needed to completely break down many types of Food is not developed in chicks. This allows for better absorption and promotes growth.
2. Ease of administration: When preparing hand-feeding formulas, many are initially either too thick to pass through a syringe or too thick to easily exit the crop of a young bird, which can lead to Disorders. The temptation is to overly dilute the formula. While this may alleviate these issues, it results in reduced nutrient content per meal. By breaking down the hand-feeding mix using Fauna Flora, the Food becomes naturally thinner, as complex nutrients tend to be more viscous than simple ones, without losing any nutritional content.

Feeding Instructions

After opening the package, Fauna Flora should be kept dry and stored in the freezer.

• Birds: Add a pinch (1/16 teaspoon) per meal.
• Other animals: Sprinkle Fauna Flora over the animal's Food. For a Food volume approximately equivalent to 250 ml (one cup), use ½ teaspoon of Fauna Flora. For aging animals, use 1 teaspoon per Food equivalent to 250 ml.

Using Fauna Flora with hand-feeding formula

After preparing your hand-feeding formula, allow it to cool, then sprinkle Fauna Flora on the surface. Let it sit briefly, then remix the formula and allow it to become noticeably thinner. If feeding with a spoon, there is no need to let the Food stand, as the yeast will do its work inside the chick's crop.
