Artemia cysts (brine shrimp eggs) are collected from salt ponds or salt lakes. The larvae hatched from the cysts provide one of the most nutritious foods in nature for shrimp and small fish.

Hatching Instructions:

• Use a clear plastic or glass bottle for small quantities. For larger quantities, use a fiberglass tank with a capacity of 10-55 gallons (38-208 liters).
• Use clean seawater or artificial saline water with a specific gravity ranging from 1.01 to 1.02.
• The optimal pH is 7.5-8.5. If necessary, add an alkaline solution composed of soda ash or sodium sulfate to raise the pH.
• During the hatching process, use adequate ventilation to keep all eggs in constant motion at all times.
• The optimal hatching temperature is 28-30°C.
