KRUUSE Monofast is a synthetic, absorbable, monofilament, Antiseptic surgical suture composed of polyglycolide-co-caprolactone. Available undyed and in violet color. Complete absorption occurs in approximately 90-120 days (approximately 65% of original tensile strength remains after 7 days of implantation, 40% of original tensile strength remains after 14 days of implantation). Uses KRUUSE Monofast is commonly used in soft tissue and suturing where absorbable sutures are indicated, including:
  • Vascular ligation
