These implants are designed for use with locking screws only and do not feature the stacked locking mechanism common in many of our larger implants. Therefore, they are not suitable for use with standard self-tapping cortical screws. For pieces that are large enough to accommodate two screws side by side, our locking plates will secure these small pieces very securely.
