MOMETAMAX ULTRA is a suspension used for dogs that contains a single application of a broad-spectrum anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial agent. It is used to treat acute external ear inflammation in dogs caused by a mixed infection of bacterial strains sensitive to gentamicin (Staphylococcus pseudintermedius) and fungi sensitive to posaconazole (Malassezia pachydermatis). Dosage and Administration Shake the bottle well before use. For ear use only. Single treatment. The recommended dose is a single dose of 0.8 ml per affected ear. MOMETAMAX ULTRA contains 20 doses of 0.8 ml each. After withdrawing the first dose, the remainder should be used within 3 months or any unused portions should be discarded after 3 months of opening. The maximum clinical response may not be seen until 28 days after administration.
