Sea Salt for Treated and Regular Water

Thanks to its excellent homogeneity and uniform grain size, Sera sea salt dissolves quickly and without any residue in clear marine water. It provides natural GH and KH levels and contains abundant amounts of calcium and magnesium in biologically correct quantities.

The pH value will remain precise and reliable within the correct range thanks to the natural buffering system in Sera sea salt. Due to a special process, Sera sea salt contains trace elements in a way that keeps them always in solution, making them available for a long time.

Sera sea salt does not contain any substances that artificially stimulate protein skimmer activity. It is free from nitrates, silicates, and phosphates.

Sera sea salt (sea salt without nitrates, phosphates, and silicates) contains calcium and all the trace elements necessary for the successful cultivation of decorative algae and lower resins in marine water. It contains a special compound of substances that support the removal of harmful materials such as heavy metals and copper. It dissolves quickly and without deposits. With a natural buffering system, it ensures an ideal stable pH value.

Instructions for use: Dissolve Sera sea salt (about 33 grams per liter of water) until the water density reaches 1.022 and 1.024 grams/ml in a container containing treated water (reverse osmosis) or regular chlorine-free water, and aerate it for 24 hours or mix it well using a submersible pump to reach oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Warning: Do not dissolve sea salt directly in an operating aquarium!

We recommend changing 5-10% of the aquarium content monthly, and the water should be treated using Sera Aquatan and Sera Bio Reef Clear - you will achieve better water quality.

When setting up a new aquarium, treat the water using Sera Aquatan and Sera Bio Reef Clear and leave the aquarium with connected equipment (pumps, heaters, filter...) running for at least 14 days for biological stabilization before stocking it with fish.
