Silicates support the growth of diatom algae in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The Sera Marin Silicate Clear product easily and permanently removes silicates.

Sera Marin Silicate Clear is provided in a practical filter media bag. Before use, rinse it briefly under running water, then simply place the bag in a filter or in a location with good water circulation. Its effectiveness lasts up to three months, depending on the silicate load in the water.

  • 60 grams are sufficient for a tank with a capacity of 20-50 liters
  • 500 grams are sufficient for a tank with a capacity of 200-400 liters
