SNAP* Giardia Test Kit

The SNAP* Giardia Test Kit is a rapid enzyme immunoassay for detecting Giardia antigen in the feces of dogs and cats. The presence of this antigen in fecal samples indicates that the animal has ingested Giardia cysts, may be actively infected, and may be shedding cysts in the feces. Symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, and loss of appetite, and the infection is particularly serious for immunocompromised animals.
