• Thyrofon contains levothyroxine sodium.
• Thyforon is used to treat hypothyroidism in dogs.
• Do not use Thyforon in dogs suffering from untreated adrenal gland insufficiency. 
• Thyforon is not used in cases of known hypersensitivity to levothyroxine sodium or any of its components.

Dosage and method of use of Thaiforon

• Recommended starting dose: 10 micrograms per kg of body weight, orally, every 12 hours.
• The dose may require adjustments before observing the full clinical response.
  
• The timing of treatment and its relation to nutrition must remain consistent from day to day.
• When starting doses for dogs weighing less than 5 kg, one quarter of a 200 microgram tablet should be taken once daily.
