The Ocean Runner series of magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps are extremely quiet during operation. They are equipped with fully encapsulated synchronous motors and can be operated in complete safety both underwater and out of water. The polished ceramic shaft and bearing are also virtually corrosion-resistant, ensuring long operating life. An integrated overheat protection device also prevents damage to the coils if impeller rotation is obstructed. The pumps can be easily disassembled for cleaning. All materials are resistant to salt water. Ocean Runner pumps are powerful universal pumps that can be used as cycle or current pumps in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Ocean Runner pumps are equipped with a durable pump casing, energy-efficient motor, polished ceramic shaft, and ceramic bearings.
