The Aqua Medic overflow box should be mounted on the side or back wall of the tub. A constant water level is maintained after overflow begins. Water circulation is achieved by pumping water from the sink to the sink and then through the overflow box back to the sink. This makes it possible to connect aquariums to cabinet filter systems without having to drill holes in the aquarium. The overflow bin is manufactured from acrylic and is available in two capacities: OFB 2500 for up to 2,500 litres/hour (about 625 gallons per hour), OFB 5000 for up to 5,000 litres/hour (about 1,250 gallons per hour).
