Nitrite (NO2) is one of the most toxic substances for fish in aquariums. It can accumulate in the water if biological filtration is insufficient.
The Sera nitrite test allows for easy and reliable monitoring of nitrite levels in freshwater and saltwater.
We recommend using Sera Bio Nitrivec (for freshwater), Sera Marin Bio Reefclear (for saltwater), or Sera Pond Bio Nitrivec (for ponds) in case of slightly elevated nitrite levels. In case of severe nitrite Disorders, Sera Nitrite-Minus provides quick assistance.
