Offer 1/4 of their daily nutritional needs. If desired, the food can be made coarser by adding a few drops of water.

During the breeding season: Offer the food 2-3 times daily, after the first 24 hours of hatching.
During the molting season: Offer the food daily.
Intermediate periods: Offer the food twice a week.
