EQUIVET Cervix Forceps for E.T.
دفع آمن مضمون
Most embryos transferred in mares are done through cervical transfer in a non-surgical manner.
Sandra Wilshire, along with other members of the fertility unit in Cambridge, UK, modified the standard cervical transfer procedure. Initially, the mare is sedated and the rear is washed and cleaned. A Polansky duck-bill speculum is inserted into the vagina to view the external opening of the cervix. Using an EQUIVET cervical forceps, the cervix is grasped in the ventral quadrant and pulled towards the tail to straighten the cervical canal. A disposable insemination tube covered with a plastic sheath is used to transfer the embryo. Using this technique, the embryo is kept away from the natural bacteria present in the vulva and vagina, reducing the risk of contamination. At the same time, this increases the success rate for the veterinarian who does not perform embryo transfers in large numbers.
This forceps has an improved handle, making it easier to open and close in a controlled manner.
