These microbes can cause severe loss of appetite, intense thirst, and weight loss. The stool may contain mucus and possibly blood. A stool examination should be conducted for accurate diagnosis of amoebiasis or ciliates.
This is usually done by a veterinarian. Alternatively, it is now possible to send the sample directly to the Sera laboratory (please refer to the Sera Med Professional diagnostic kit). Solution for oral use. The package includes a 1 ml graduated syringe (PPM) (without needle) to support application and dosage. 30 ml (1.01 fluid ounces), sufficient for animals weighing up to 3 kg (6.6 lbs) (including repeated treatment).
