Both fish waste and feeding can be potential causes of phosphate introduction into the water. Part of it is absorbed as nutrients by plants, while the excess provides food for unwanted algae.

The sera phosphate test (sera PO4-Test) provides a quick and easy overview of current phosphate levels. Excess phosphate can be easily removed using sera Phosvec Clear (freshwater) or sera Phosvec Granulat (freshwater and saltwater) or sera Pond Phosvec (pond).

Sufficient for approximately 60 measurements.
