Reef Carbonate is a concentrated blend (4000 microequivalents/L) of enhanced carbonate and bicarbonate salts designed to restore and maintain alkalinity in a reef aquarium.

Usage Instructions:
For Beginners
Use 1 capful (5 ml) per 80 liters (20 US gallons) twice a week. It is best to dilute it in a cup of fresh water, then add it. Check alkalinity every two weeks and adjust the amount or frequency accordingly.

For Advanced Users
Check alkalinity, then follow the above dosing regimen until alkalinity is adjusted to 4-5 microequivalents/L. Each ml contains a minimum of 4 microequivalents of alkalinity. Every 5 ml/80 liters will raise alkalinity by approximately 0.25 microequivalents/L. The amount or frequency can be adjusted, but do not exceed 20 ml/80 liters per day. Thereafter, use as needed to maintain alkalinity.
