API® PROPER pH 7.5 automatically adjusts and stabilizes the pH level at 7.5, while also removing chlorine and heavy metal toxicity. PROPER pH 7.5 also contains electrolytes to reduce fish stress and promote overall health. pH level is a measure of acidity or alkalinity in water, where a value of 7.0 corresponds to a neutral pH, values above 7.0 are alkaline, and values below 7.0 are acidic. Different fish species require different pH levels to stay healthy, so it is important to regularly test the water to ensure pH levels are within the proper range. If the pH level in the water is not at the desired level, use API PROPER pH 7.5 to adjust and maintain the level for fish such as goldfish, barbs, Central American cichlids, and general livebearer species like mollies, swordtails, and guppies.
