API® MELAFIX fish treatment is a completely natural antibacterial remedy that treats infections in fish. Common bacterial infections include open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, eye cloud, and mouth fungus. MELAFIX fish treatment also promotes the regrowth of damaged fins and tissues. The product can be used when adding new fish to the aquarium - especially to ease the transition from the store to home - and if an infection is suspected but not yet diagnosed. Some fish purchased from pet stores may already carry diseases at the time of purchase, which can be difficult to detect in their early stages.

API MELAFIX fish treatment will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or change the water color.

• Add 5 ml for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.
• For treating diseases or wounds, a daily dose for 7 days. After 7 days, change 25% of the water.
• Continue treatment if necessary.
• When adding new fish, a daily dose for 3 days.
