API POND ALGAEFIX effectively controls algae by managing green algae blooms, hair algae (Cladophora), and blanket algae (Oedogonium) in ponds containing live plants and fish. API POND ALGAEFIX works quickly to control algae, suppress algae growth, prevent new algae formation, and help resolve algae Disorders.

Registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), API POND ALGAEFIX controls many types of algae in water gardens, ponds, and decorative fountains containing live plants and fish.

To ensure accurate dosing, determine the pool size before use. Do not overdose. Add a teaspoon (5 ml) per 50 gallons or 0.25 cup per 600 gallons of pool or fountain water. Mix well into the pool water by adding near the pump flow, waterfall, or aerator. It can be mixed in a bucket and evenly distributed around the pool. Repeat the dose every 3 days until algae are controlled. Once algae growth is controlled, add one dose weekly. Weekly doses will help control algae growth and reduce pool maintenance.

Warning: Do not use with freshwater crustaceans including shrimp, crayfish, and crayfish.
