Maxspect Nano-Tech Bio-Discs represent a new advancement in coral propagation technology, creating an ideal medium for coral fixation that stimulates and supports their healthy growth. Thanks to the highly porous structure of the bio-discs, water flow can penetrate to reach the surface of the coral piece, both from above and below, allowing coral fragments to extract nutrients from the water column more easily. This open and porous structure also allows the discs to act as a secondary bio-medium, enhancing beneficial bacteria within and on the surface of the disc. Some coral polyps may also benefit from this bacterial growth as food, promoting growth.
