The 2.4 lock screw has the same head as the 2.7 mm lock screw (LS2724 series) and can therefore be used in both 2.4 lock plates and 2.7 lock plates when needed. The pilot drill is 1.8 mm and, as with other lock screw sizes, requires a dedicated drill sleeve.
