Marine Buffer 250g

Marine Buffer will safely raise the pH in marine water to 8.3. It will not raise pH above 8.3 even in the case of accidental overdose. Marine Buffer is a product blend and not just sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate, which are commonly sold as substitutes.

Directions:
Add 5 grams (one level teaspoon) for every 80 liters (20 US gallons). Dissolve the amount in at least one cup of fresh water. This dose will also raise alkalinity by approximately 1 meq/L. Add daily until pH stabilizes at 8.3. This may take from a day to a week, depending on the initial pH and alkalinity. Thereafter, use biweekly or monthly to maintain pH at 8.3.
