Halomax® DNA integrity test kit with fluorescent dye for bovine, porcine, or camel samples (references 15407/0013, 15407/0014, 15407/0016) and general fluorescent dye component (reference 15407/0015)
Used with a fluorescent microscope and the Halomax® DNA integrity test kit using the halo technique with fluorescent staining (such as propidium bromide dye) to distinguish sperm with fragmented DNA (halo present) from those with intact DNA (no halo). The software then automatically calculates the percentage of fragmented versus intact sperm. Staining or preparation quantities should be determined by a qualified veterinarian or lab specialist based on the animal species, sample type, and clinical context.
