Pre-filter

ULTRAMAX Aquael filters feature a built-in 1.5-liter pre-filter in the unit cover. This design helps trap large debris, significantly reducing the frequency of filter maintenance. Cleaning the pre-filter is easy; all you need to do is lift the cover, remove the sponge from the basket, and rinse it under running water. This procedure does not require removing the unit from the cabinet, making maintenance simple and efficient.

Dual Ball Valve System

ULTRAMAX filters come equipped with a patented dual ball valve system that addresses a common issue faced by fishkeepers – water leakage when disconnecting inlet and outlet hoses. This innovative system simultaneously closes the filter’s inlet and outlet and the hoses, preventing any uncontrolled water leakage and reducing mess during maintenance.

Self-priming System

Starting the filter is very easy with the self-priming system. All you need to do is perform two to four strokes with the plunger to fill the filter with aquarium water. This simple mechanism ensures you can start the filter quickly without any complications.

Smooth Performance Regulation

Editing the filter’s performance is easy and intuitive. The filter has a small lever clearly placed on the right valve to smoothly and easily regulate performance. This design ensures that first-time users can easily adjust the filter according to their needs.

Effective Filtration

ULTRAMAX filters are designed to provide effective mechanical and biological filtration. They include several filter cartridges located in 1.9-liter baskets. Depending on the model, there are 3 to 5 baskets, providing a total filter media capacity ranging from 6.3 to 10.10 liters.
